Chapple

Dear Chapple Families

The highlight of this week was when John came into the class to talk about rocks, dinosaurs and earthquakes. We got to test a seismograph, identify dinosaurs fossils and even worked out the blood pressure of a diplodocus! They certainly couldn’t have stood on their hind legs like in the movie Jurassic Park, even with a heart the size of a car.

In PE we got to use one of our favourites –the parachute.

Our cross year level inquiry has been great fun and Mrs Prest entertained us with the story of “Who sank the boat?”

We are looking for unusual/surprising things that sink or float to help our investigations next week, if you have something it would be great if the children could bring it in next week.

We are still collecting water bottles and water pictures.

Advanced notice

Nativity 10am on the 1st December
Graduation 11am on the 8th December

Have a great week!
