Chapple

A very busy first week as we started are exploration into water, after the children had unsurprisingly become interested in it after all the rain we have had. Piranhas don’t eat bananas proved an entertaining introduction. We also discovered that bananas float!

Sports Day was a great success and the weather was glorious. The children loved it so much that Ned suggested that we do Sports Day every day!

Alex from the Senior School came in and told the story of the “Green Sheep” using sign language. The children picked it up really quickly and even tried to work out which sheep it was from the sign.

We would love the children to bring in a picture, for the start of Term 4 ,of themselves with water or any interesting picture of water. The aim is  to look at the many ways we use water, how it affects us and some of the exciting science behind it.

We are also collecting small clear disposable water bottles with lids for an  experiment.
