Dear families and friends,
This week was all about vehicles! Thanks to a generous
donation of cardboard boxes from Harry BB each child had the opportunity to
turn their box into something amazing that moves. From traditional cars, to
aeroplanes and go karts the children were very creative in their thinking.
All
week the children painted their vehicles, added tyres, a steering wheel and
some even wanted a spoiler on the back too! On Thursday, the children took
their car to a drive in movie where they bought movie tickets, popcorn and a
drink with the pretend money they had. It was only $5 for the ticket and $2 for
popcorn, very reasonable!
After lots of fun at the drive in, the children took
their car for a big drive outside. It's amazing how much fun we can have from
some simple cardboard boxes, Beep Beep!
