Dear Chapple Families
Wow what a busy first full week! Sterling picked a wonderful
book to read called the Watermelon Seed and it proved a great introduction into
our Unit of Inquiry- Change is everywhere. We made watermelons and then planted
them. We investigated and inquired how these little seeds turned into big
watermelon.
We also planted some Kale and with the promise that if they
grow, we will make some healthy chips!
We were lucky enough to have the team from Hot shots come in
to work on our tennis skills.
We visited the School Health Centre and it gave us some
great ideas for our role play area- I think we may have some future doctors!
