Dear Langley family and friends,
We have had a wonderful last week of term this week! A small group of children spontaneously started playing doctors and patients with Miss Kerry early in the week. Building on this interest, we set up a hospital role play area with beds, patients and doctor's instruments to use. The interest has grown and expanded through the classroom and many children have been engaging in social role play in this area. We have had many sick patients with bumps and bruises, broken bones and even patients with babies in their tummies! Never fear though, there have been plenty of doctors and nurses on hand to tend to and care for our patients – all of them making very speedy recoveries.

Thank you to all the parents and grandparents
who came and joined in our colourful (and noisy) Sports Day on Thursday. We
excitedly joined the rest of the ELC children and Reception to Year 2 children
in the gym where we cheered for our teams and warmed up with our health hustle
lead by Mr Weatherald. Many of the parents and grandparents did a fantastic job
joining in (even when their children were a little reluctant!) We then ventured
out onto the oval to enjoy the sunshine for our running races. We watched and
cheered the three and four year old children, before it was our turn to race.
It was wonderful to see so many of the children eagerly racing down the track cheered
on by their parents and peers. A wonderful day was had by all!
Best wishes,
Jess, Kerry, Nicole and Emily
