Dear
Parents and Friends,
This
week we have embraced our interest in fruit and vegetables by making some
delicious fruit juice. A big thank you to Dougal for bringing in some juicy
oranges for us to use! We used a hand juicer, an electric juicer and then today
we used a juice fountain.
Here
are some comments of our experiences...
Charlie
M: This is very nice!
Angus:
That's the bin... all the scraps go there.
Boasi:
I want some more!
Charlie
A: I can taste the orange.
Joshua:
We put the fruit in it all chopped it up.
Charlie
A: It made juice.
Charlie
M: We had to crunch the fruit up to get he juice.
Angus:
It tastes sour!
We
have many more hands on cooking experiences to enjoy before the end of term!
Next week we are looking forward to introducing another shop into our learning
environment... do come and buy either an icecream or a fish!!
